Two strands of work, one aim:
to raise environmental awareness and standards.
In October 2009 I left Friends of the Earth (I'm still part-time paper and print buyer for Greenpeace) to focus on two growing areas of work: environmental training for print-buyers and environmental strategy for printing companies.
Environmental print training: To give print buyers and designers the knowledge to evaluate print and paper related environmental claims.
One-to-one, informal training covering all environmental issues relevant to paper and print. From papermaking to recyclability, with a strong emphasis on Greenwash and misleading claims, training can also be tailored to your specific needs.
Environmental accreditations for printing companies: Taking the pain out the accreditation process.
From Greenmark to ISO 14001 to EMAS schemes exist for companies of all sizes and environmental status. I can advise on the most suitable scheme and act as an intermediary between the printing company and the auditor.
